Atlantic City Maps Pacific Avenue runs North and South parallel to the shore and this is where you will find all the casinos, lined up between Pacific and the Boardwalk. Parallel to Pacific and West is Atlantic Avenue, where you will find the business district of Atlantic City, which natives refer to as "the island". Other nearby cities on the shore south of Atlantic City (on "the island") are: Ventnor, Margate, LongPort (known as "Down Beach"), Somers Point, Ocean City, Marmora and Wildwood. Brigantine and Long Beach Island are North of Atlantic City on the shore. Northfield, Linwood, Absecon, Egg Harbor Township and Galloway are surrounding areas "offshore". |
