ARTICLE XII: FINES

Section 1 After proper notice, trial and conviction, the Local may impose any penalty it deems appropriate, including a fine and/or suspension and/or expulsion. The Local may also reprimand or censure the member on whom the same is imposed.

Section 2 All fines imposed by the Local shall be paid to the Local within thirty (30) days from the date thereof, unless an appeal is made and the fine is deposited, or unless a stay of such fine is imposed by the Local. If a fine is not paid, deposited or stayed, the Management Council shall, at the next regular meeting, declare the delinquent member suspended for nonpayment thereof, whereupon said member shall forfeit all rights, privileges, benefits and protection of this Local.
