ARTICLE VI: MEETINGS |
|

| Section 1 Regular Meetings: Regular meetings of the membership shall be held on the last Monday of each month at 7:30pm at the Fellowship Hall of the Ventnor Methodist Church in Ventnor, NJ. The Management Council shall also have authority to adjust the meeting location and dates for any reason it deems necessary or to avoid legal holidays, or for reasons of emergencies or major scheduling conflicts. |
| Section 2 Special Meetings: A special meeting for a specific purpose may be called by any member of the Management Council or by written petition of 15 members in good standing. The purpose of the meeting shall be specified in a notice of such meeting to all members, which shall be mailed by the Secretary-Treasurer at least fifteen days prior to the meeting. No other business other than that specified in the notification shall be transacted at a special meeting. |
| Section 3 Quorum: A quorum of fifteen members in good standing must be in attendance at a membership meeting for the meeting to be called to order or continued. If , at any regular or special membership meeting a quorum is not achieved, the Management Council shall have authority to act upon any items on the agenda of such meeting except in those cases involving changes in dues, fees or assessments. |
| Section 5 Order of Business: The standard Order of Business at General Meetings shall be: (1) Call to Order; (2) Roll Call of Officers; (3) Minutes of Previous Meetings; (4) Communications, Bills, and Resolutions; (5) Bylaw Amendments; (6) Officers' Reports; (7) committee reports; (8) Unfinished business; (9) New business; (10) Goods and Welfare. |
| Section 6 Parliamentary Authority: The conduct and procedures of all regular and special membership meetings shall be as set forth in the current edition of Robert's Rules of Order. |
