ARTICLE VIII: WAGES |
|
|
| Section 1 The minimum wage scales for engagements in the jurisdiction of the Local shall be as established by the membership from time to time at regular or special membership meetings and upon adoption shall become a part of Article VIII. |
| Section 2 The Secretary-Treasurer shall maintain and make available to all members a current list of all established wage scales to be revised and published at least evry three years as approved by the membership. |
| Section 3 The Management Council shall have authority to establish a wage scale for any type of engagement for which a wage scale has not been previously established by the membership, subject to approval at the next regular membership meeting. |
| Section 4 No member shall perform or agree to perform an engagement for less than the applicable minimum wage scale established for such engagement. |
| Section 5 Every Member Contractor, Leader or Employer must pay his/her employees the sum specified in the current Miscellaneous Price List, Trade Agreements and/or Casino Collective Bargaining Agreement appendix (A) or greater, for every engagement. Payment must be made Fifteen (15) days after said engagement. When employees are not paid within the specified time frame, upon the filing of a written grievance by said employee; the Management Council shall proceed with an investigation into the matter. |
| All Pension Fund checks must be made out to the AFM-EP Fund and mailed to Local 661-708 for forwarding to the Pension Fund. Pension reports and payments are due no later than the twenty-fifth (25th) day of the month following the engagement. Delinquencies are subject to penalties. |
| Health and Welfare checks must be made out to Local 661-708 Health and Welfare Fund and mailed to the Local no later than the twenty-fifth (25th) day of the month following the engagement. Penalties may be applied to any delinquent report or payment. |
