ARTICLE IX: DEATH BENEFIT

Section 1 The Local shall provide a death benefit of One-thousand ($1,000) dollars, insured through a provider

licensed by the State of New Jersey to provide such a benefit.

Section 2 Each member shall name a beneficiary to whom a death benefit shall be paid. It shall be the duty of

each member to keep the Local advised as to any change of beneficiary. In the event that no beneficiary is named,

the death benefit shall be paid to the estate of such person as prescribed by the Laws of New Jersey.
