GERI'S WARMUPS
(Please scroll down and read below first!)

Reading the above from bottom up....

#1... Longtones

No vibrato, starting as soft as possible to mezzo-forte back to piano,
holding the breath as long as possible...

Breathe!  Feels good and positions the embouchure!

#2 - Breathing with fingers in motion....

Again, play softly, crescendo and decrescendo on each dotted half.

#3 - Warm up the fingers.... Mr. "P"s Warmup
(James Pappoutsakis/BSO & Pops):

The objective is to play the whole exercise in one breath, all slurred.

Start as written, then play an octave higher, paying attention to
what your embouchure is doing.... stretched out, larger
opening on lower notes... to pursing like a "kiss"
for the higher notes.

#4 - Not shown, but known...
If you are an intermediate to advanced player, you should
now play Taffanel and Gaubert's Circle of 5th Scales, from the
17 Grands Exercices Journaliers De Mecanisme
I memorized these when I was 16 and still play them (thanks, Claude!).
Play them melodically, as you would an etude or concert piece.. do not exceed the speed of your most difficult phrase in playing!
