Thirteen years ago, the Reverend Clancy Wilson (above) of the Ventnor Trinity United Methodist Church had a dream. That's all it took. Clancy, an accomplished trumpeter, wanted to see God's gifts used as a means of glorifying the Lord while providing a means of entertainment for the public, employment for the area's many gifted union musicians, and yes, as hopefully a means of bringing more people to his church. It was a success, and soon the first Sunday of the month Jazz Vespers concert Unfortunately, time and money factor into everything and this soon proved not to be expedient. However, that doesn't stop an occasional "extra" concert every month when the mood or pocketbook permits! The Ventnor United Methodist Church is located at 7117 Ventnor Avenue, in Ventnor, NJ, just 5 minutes from Atlantic City. Directions can be obtained through Mapquest. Concerts
