Favorite characters from
among her 20 musicals include Sarah Brown in
Guys and Dolls; Marian Paroo in
Music Man; Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady;
and Guinevere in Camelot. With "Opera on
the Go”, Ms. Rose has performed everything from a
10year old Red Riding Hood, which she performed with
the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra; to a husband nagging Hen
in Chanticleer. Jodi has staged multiple one woman
“Cabaret Style” Concerts; most recently “Hope For The
Future” which she donated as a fund raiser for the Ronald
McDonald House and was received with great success. Jodi has
directed and/or choreographed more than 30 professional
musical theater/opera productions.
Three of the company's operas, Goldilocks and the Three
Bears, Little Red Riding Hood, and Pirate Captains,
have been presented on New York City Public Television, as
well as their song and dance musical revue, Showboat
Rhapsody. Also for Public Television, Jodi was taped
"live" conducting an Artist in Residency program for
junior high and high school students. She has directed
Workshops with as many as 150 students culminating in a
student performance. Because of her entrepreneurial work since
1996, she has been written up in “Who’s Who of American Women”
as well as “The World Who’s Who of American Women”.
