GEOMETRIC DESIGNS & FRACTAL ART The geometric designs in Annette Maynard's book bring profound meanings in these common shapes: squares, triangles and others found in nature. Geometric art can be used as a tool to trigger answers to the questions: "Who am I?" and "Why am I here?" "Nature Remembers" presents a window to awaken the reader to a sense of the interconnectedness of all things and the incredible balance and harmony found everywhere in nature. |

The geometric designs in this enlightening book demonstrate a complete system as a unified whole, and show the hidden laws of nature in formulas reflecting the perfection of creation. Gaze upon them and jolt your forgotten past and not so distant memory. See the Designs here. Lucky you! These Beautiful Works of Fine Art by Alana are now available as 11 x 17" Posters as well as in her book "Nature Remembers: Through Sacred Geometry", which features a print of each accompanied by a lovely descriptive and flowing poem. See and purchase them here. ABOUT THE FRACTAL IMAGES The Artist, Alana, has painted these computer-generated images on canvas to enhance the viewer’s experience of these aesthetically pleasing forms. Fractal art is a new way of looking at space and form. The patterns graphically portray “world within
worlds.” A new vision of the world is opened up with a new type of camera—computer screen selection boxes taking the place of viewfinder with a very powerful zoom-in-lens. This new tool has infinite focusing abilities and multitudes of configurable variables. It is
not the tool that creates art, but the artist and their viewers. The artist selects a small section of the image and magnifies it. The process is repeated indefinitely, exploring ever-smaller regions. No matter how closely
you look at a fractal, it never loses its detail. It is infinitely detailed, yet it can be contained in a finite space. Simply put, fractals are shapes that show similar features at different sizes. Much as a very close inspection of a rock can show similar features to
an aerial view of a mountain. They are characterized by this property of self-similarity.
Imagine you are in a space shuttle orbiting the Earth. If you look down and see a coastline, you will see its basic shape. However, to see detail, you will
either have to magnify your view or get closer. Fractals are like that. You can keep zooming in on the same coastline forever and see more and more detail. Fractals can do this, because they do not exist as real objects. They
are created by math and follow their own rules. The math provides the form, but it is up to the artist to choose the boundaries, colors, and manner of presentation of each fractal. A common experience while viewing fractal imagery is one of contemplation. A glaze comes over one’s eyes as if one is contemplating cloud patterns. Every viewer sees the image in their own private context—something different in highly abstracted fractal images. A window into the unconscious is created. This is the fractal state of awareness—not bound by space or time, but a natural product of a creative mind. This is the condition of the Universe in which in itself possesses wholeness and with it all its parts down to the particle. See & purchase them here.
